Abstract  Three new species of the charopid genus Climocella Goulstone, 1996 are described from the North Island, New Zealand: Climocella hukutaia from Bay of Plenty, C. puhore from mid Northland, and C. triticum from the southern half of the North Island. Charopa (Mocella) accelerata Climo, 1970, previously assigned to the genus Climocella by Goulstone in 1996, is transferred to the genus Flammocharopa Climo, 1970.
