Abstract  This paper provides illustated keys to the two tribes, and the 17 genera (including six introduced genera), of the subfamily Mirinae represented in New Zealand. Anexochus crassicornis, a new genus and species of Mirinae from New Zealand, is described and figured. The new genus is compared with, and distinguished from, the Australian genera Pseudopantilius Reuter, 1904 and Austrocapsus Kirkaldy, 1901. Tuicoris lipurus n. sp. is described and figured, and the genus Tuicoris Eyles & Carvalho, 1995 is redefined. If not previously described, the female genitalia of the New Zealand genera of Mirinae, are described and illustrated. The eggs of four genera are described.
