First record of Helicotylenchus spitsbergensis Loof, 1971 (Nematoda: Tylenchida) in New Zealand with the first description of males

Abstract  Helicotylenchus spitsbergensis Loof, 1971 is recorded in Chionochloa rigida (snow tussock) grassland soil from Otago, New Zealand. Morphometrics and descriptions of male and female specimens are given. An updated key to the Helicotylenchus species from New Zealand is also presented.
